It means your Cost To Company (CTC) will be increased by 30%
For calculating your hike, you don’t need to call a CA for this, I promise! Just multiply your current CTC by 30% (or 0.3 if you’re feeling fancy), then add that number to your current CTC. Let’s say your CTC is ₹8 lakhs. 30% of ₹8 lakhs is ₹2.4 lakhs, so your new CTC would be ₹10.4 lakhs. Now, go treat yourself—you’ve earned it!

Calculating a 30% hike is simple maths, yaar. Just take your current CTC and multiply it by 1.3. For example, if your CTC is ₹10 lakhs, it becomes ₹10 x 1.3 = ₹13 lakhs. So, your new CTC would be ₹13 lakhs. Easy-peasy, no Excel needed—unless you’re allergic to numbers!

First of all congrats! 🎉🎊🥳👏
Here’s how you calculate it without breaking a sweat. Take your current CTC, multiply it by 30/100 (or 0.3), and add the result to your current CTC.
For instance, if your CTC is ₹18 lakhs, 30% is ₹5.4 lakhs, so your new CTC is ₹23.4 lakhs. Not bad, huh? Now go demand that hike with confidence!
